Applewood smoked bacon combined with corn and green onions gives you just the twist you need to make a simple dish extra delicious.
You definitely want to go organic and check for GMO labeling when buying corn or any corn-containing products. Because aside from having other problems, GMO corn doesn’t contain the same level of beneficial vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Organic corn is a vitamin C and magnesium rich-food and contains certain B vitamins and potassium. It also supplies a good dose of two antioxidants linked to eye and skin health called zeaxanthin and lutein. (source)
