Join us For Our Meet Your Farmers Spring Event

Join us May 25th & 26th to meet some of your favourite Ontario farmers and artisans, to hear about their stories and learn about where your food and favourite local products come from! After meeting your local farmers, don’t forget to head out on a wagon ride out to our asparagus fields to meet Farmer Morris while picking your own farm fresh asparagus!

The Festival

  • Begin your day meeting some of your favourite local farmers and artisans, connecting with your food and those who make it
  • Stop by our Silo Cafe and grab your favourtie aspargus inspire treats, and listen to a reading from local children’s author, Carolyn  Morris at 10AM & 2PM along with her 5-day-old ducklings. Carolyn will be available from 9AM until 3PM for duckling cuddles, facts, jokes & photos on Sunday May 26th only.
  • Jump on a wagon out to our picking fields where you can head out to pick-your-own farm fresh aspargus. Farmer Morris will join you in our picking fields at 11AM and 1PM!
  • Enjoy a scenic wagon ride back to our pick-your-own huts, then finish your day at our Farm Market where you can enjoy samples and shop all your local favourites to bring home

When & Where

Our farm market, pick-your-own and Silo Café will be open form 8AM-5PM on Saturday May 25th & Sunday May 26th! Last wagon leaves to our asparagus picking fields at 4:30PM. 

Farmer Morris will be available in our picking fields at 11AM and 1PM on Saturday and Sunday. 

Carolyn Morris will be doing readings at our stage near our Silo Cafe at 10AM & 2PM on Sunday May 26th only.
