Q: Can I make changes to my order once it’s placed?

A: No. Due to the minimum order amount, we hope that everyone thinks carefully about what they need and place only one order so we can get it ready to take home as soon as possible.

Q: Can I pay with my BHF gift card for my online order?

A: Not at this moment. Our gift cards are great for shopping in our market or drive-thru, so it is less to carry with you once you arrive!

Q: Is there an online order minimum?

A: Yes, your order needs to be $50 minimum (before tax).  If you have a local friend, neighbour, or elderly family member, we’ve found many people ordering together to save a trip out and help us all conserve energy.

Q: What if I just need a couple of items I missed on my first order?

A: Right now there’s no way to open up an existing order and add on to it. We’re working on it, but for now, it’s not possible. We strongly suggest finding everything you need before checking out.

Q: I want to place an order for pickup, when can I do this? When are you open?

A: When your order is completed you will receive an email from us stating that your order is ready for pickup – usually in the first hour or two after placing your order. We ask that once you have received this email you come to pick up your order as soon as possible (during our Hours of Operation) to keep your goodies as fresh as can be. Please note, if you arrive at the farm and have not received our confirmation email, we will be unable to complete your order.

Q: I just went on your website but the item I’m looking for isn’t there, can I still buy it?

A: Maybe. If it’s one of the crops we grow, it’s possible the season is finished and it’s out of stock. In that case, you won’t be able to get that item at the farm market either. For some of the other local products we carry in our market, only some of them are listed for curbside pick up. So if that special item you’re looking for isn’t there, we suggest coming into our market or using our drive thru to get exactly what you’re looking for.

Q: I really need my order; can I pick up my order the same day?

A: Yes. Especially if you order early in the morning. Currently we are able to have most orders ready in an hour or two. Orders placed after 4pm, will most likely be ready for the next day however we will continue to try our best to get everything ready for same day pick up.

Q: I would like to schedule an order for a few days/weeks from now, can I do that?

A: Maybe. We’ll try our best. Simply add your desired pick up time and date in the notes section of the on-line order form. Please don’t order more than a few days in advance. Because of Mother Nature, conditions and availability can change drastically over a few days or a week. When availability is reduced, we won’t list an item online. If it is listed, that means it’s currently in good supply for the short term, but that’s it. If you’re planning to visit the farm in the future, check our Harvest Schedule  to find out what crops will likely be ready then. A day or two before your visit you can then place an order with certainty.
