Whether picking strawberries from our fields or buying ready picked from our farm market, be sure you’re picking berries that are firm and evenly coloured.
When you bring your berries home remove any berries that look darker in colour or mushy – these should be eaten or preserved right away.
Do not wash your berries, to keep them fresher longer it’s best to leave them unwashed.
Line an airtight container with a paper towel at the bottom and place your berries loosely over top. Seal your contain and store in the fridge.

Place strawberries evenly on a parchement lined baking sheet, ensuring they are not touching. Freeze for 1-2 hours.
Once frozen, place strawberries into freezer bag for easy storage. Enjoy frozen strawberries for up to a year – until the next strawberry season!
